Grant Writing Workshops
Back by popular demand, Vickie Lake, Director of Business
Development, West TN Healthcare and premier grant writer for West TN will
once again be conducting Grant Workshops
through the Chamber's West TN Business Resource Center, co-sponsored by the
TSBDC. There are three workshops and they build on each other. By
the time you leave, you will have written a grant. What a great
experience, especially if you are working on one now. If you have those
who are already seasoned at writing grants, they may want to just come to
select sessions. Handouts with resources are extensive. Who Should Attend: Anyone interested in learning how to write grants, find grants and understand the underlying concepts of tailoring each grant application to the needs of the funding agency. Both novice and seasoned grant writers that wants to increase their rate of funding success. Attendees will leave with: · Checklist of Steps Required to Write and Successfully Submit a Grant · Understand Grant Writing Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them · Grant Writing Best Practices · Samples of Successful Grants · Grant You Have Written in the Class

The Farmer's market is now open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m.-noon. It is located next to the Chamber of Commerce at 214 East Church Street in Union City.
