Protecting and preserving the vision and purpose of firefighter credit unions is paramount to the continued success of the firefighter credit union movement. In order to achieve this, CEO's and Directors of the firefighter's credit union network have joined forces in an effort to bring innovation and shared vision to their common goal by forming the National Coalition of Firefighter's Credit Unions (NCOFCU)
NCOFCU It is now comprised of approximately 36 CEO's and 150 Directors representing 36 of the nation's 100 identified firefighter credit unions primarily serving firefighters and their families. NCOFCU seeks to leverage its collective resources to further the growth, development and interests of firefighters credit unions nationwide, by accomplishing these goals:

Representing firefighter credit unions to external audiences including regulatory agencies, legislative bodies, trade associations and other publics.

Providing educational and informational exchange opportunities through conferences and educational sessions.

Promoting firefighter credit unions' safety and soundness and financial strength.
NCOFCU's Advisory Council, comprised of CEO's and Directors, is committed to creating and maintaining a climate of safety, soundness, innovation and unity among firefighter credit unions in order to promote and enhance the initiatives of the firefighters' credit union movement.
