Greetings!
At Stepping Stones, our goal is to provide a supportive community where young people experiencing homelessness can develop the skills to live independently. These youth can live in our program for two years and, while they're here, they participate in our Independent Living Skills Program that includes money management, substance awareness, educational and employment support and much more.
Below you'll find upcoming opportunities, past events, ways to get involved, and stories about youth experiencing homelessness.
Look for our 2011 Annual Report over the coming months at our website and see more about how your support makes a difference in the lives of our residents!

| Thank you to everyone who helped make Homeward Bound and Icing on the Cake big successes this year! The weather for Homeward Bound was windy but great. Over 800 people came out to support homelessness intervention that April day. The other participating agencies all do amazing work for the homeless: Amethyst House, Centerstone, Community Kitchen, Hoosier Hills Food Bank, Martha's House, Middle Way House, Monroe County United Ministries, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, New Hope Family Shelter, Shalom Community Center and the Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County.
And we celebrated the good work of our community and especially the work of our two Youth Champions -- Leslie Skooglund and the Honorable Steven Galvin -- at Tuesday May 8th's "Icing on the Cake" event. Our community is lucky to have advocates such as these two working on behalf of at-risk youth.
Thank you to Deer Park Manor for the beautiful location and our corporate sponsors for generously donating to the event: ISU the May Agency, Cassady Electrical Contractors, Honey Baked Ham, and Twist Limb Paperworks!
Your support makes Stepping Stones possible.
