HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Greetings!
From all of us at Stepping Stones, thank you for your support and all you've helped make possible this year.
Because of support from people like you, we're now housing more youth (up 66% since 2009), providing more services to potential and former residents, and growing our staff and capacities so that we can continue to respond to the needs of youth in our community. If you're on our mailing list, you'll have received a letter with information from our residents as well as an opportunity to send them a holiday wish. If you send that in to us, we'll post your note in our community center. If you're not on our mailing list but would like to still have the opportunity to send a holiday greeting or note, Click HERE and we'll print these out and hang them up, too. Lastly, as the year comes to a close, would you consider making a gift? As we look forward into 2012, we know that the needs of youth in our community continue to grow. While Stepping Stones and many of the other fine agencies in our community do what we can, the need is still there. Any gift amount is appreciate. See the entry below on some information about Why Your Gift is Important. Find out more information to support Stepping Stones at the close of this email. Thanks! |

WHY YOUR GIFT IS IMPORTANT -according to our residents

GET INVOLVED!
| There are numerous ways in which you can lend a hand and affect the lives of youth experiencing homelessness in our community. And when you do, you help to:
- How to remain and graduate from high school
- How to gain and maintain employment
- How to manage their finances
We have various opportunities, needs and suggestions for you to help partner with us:- You can make a financial contribution to our organization! Your financial support makes it possible for the needs of youth to be served. You have made it possible for us to serve these youth by providing more housing opportunities for youth, more outreach services, and added depth to current services we offer. You can visit our Paypal account and make a contribution today or send a check or cash to our PO Box. BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT
- You can give the gift of an item! Our new residents need items like shampoo, deodorant, and other sanitary items and our office needs supplies like pen and paper. You can visit our "Wish List" by visiting the following link: http://www.steppingstones-inc.org/Wishlist.html BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK
- Spread the word about us to your friends and family! You can Forward this email by clicking on the "Forward this to a friend!" link near the bottom of the page. Or are you on Social Media like Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn? If you're on Facebook and are a "fan" of us, a simple @Stepping Stones, Inc. in your message will tag us and direct people to our page. Or, on Twitter, a simple "Mention" of @Stepping_Stones will direct folks to our feed. BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK TEXT BLANK
- Come to our events or host your own! Throughout the year, Stepping Stones participates in many collaborative fundraising efforts like "Homeward Bound". Many members in our community have gotten really creative when it comes to finding ways to support us. Having Mustache Competitions during Movember (Mustache + November = Movember), hosting small benefit concerts, or asking the employer or a business they frequent to support us in some way.
Your support is essential and is what makes it all possible!
