Second semester is off to a great start. The students and teachers returned eager to get back to a regular schedule.
As you know, we are in the midst of a capital campaign that will positively impact the School for years to come. Your previous contributions have allowed us to construct the needed addition to the Upper School building, add the parking lot, and renovate the Lower School buildings, to include the very recent holiday addition of dropped ceilings and lighting.
Thank you for all you have done in the past. Now we need a new gym. Our present facility is not adequate for the needs of our student body and their parents. We have reached the point where a new gym is a necessity and not a luxury. It will be a building meant to address the needs of the students at all levels.
We have had favorable visits with Foundations that could help us meet our campaign goal, but without 100% parent participation, we will not get their help. They all agree that we have a great story to tell, but they want to see that our own constituencies are solidly behind this campaign. We need everyone's help. Your donation, no matter how large or small, matters greatly. We need to reach this goal by the first of March.
There are extra copies of the pledge form in the Front Office.
Many thanks.
Sincerely,
Judith Griffith Head of School
