We were delighted to see so many grandparents on campus today for Grandparents' Day. After musical performances by ELC through Middle School students, visitors were given the opportunity to visit their grandchildren's classrooms and follow their morning schedule. The grandparents enjoyed seeing a glimpse of their grandchildren's daily lives and the students were incredibly proud to share their day.

All-Select Music Performances |
On November 5-6, seventeen Heritage students traveled to Mt. Paran Christian Academy to participate in the GISA All-Select Music Performances. They spent over twelve hours in rehearsals over the course of two days preparing for the All-Select Concert. Sixteen of our students were involved in the All-Select Chorus led by clinician Dr. Pamela Elrod from Southern Methodist University's Meadow School of the Arts in Dallas, Texas. They performed five college-level pieces with 160 students from 41 GISA schools. This is the second year in a row that all Heritage nominees were chosen to participate!
Pictured here are (boys) Ben Dudley, Tre Wheat, Mack Wilkins, Hayden Robinson, Dennis Breyne, Donald Breyne, Braeden Vandersluis, William Newman, (girls) Allison Sullivan, Ellie Crosby, Chase Parker, Elaina Montelongo, Rachael Hamil, Kylie Isaack, and Cristina Couvillion.
James Tiernan, pictured in rehearsal, represented Heritage in the All-Select Orchestra led by Mr. Timothy Aucoin, director of orchestras from Northview High School. James was accepted into the position of second chair violin, an outstanding honor.
Please join us in congratulating these students!
