Happy Graduate
Dear Heritage Family and Friends,

As we close our 40th year at Heritage, I believe as a community we can look back and be proud of our school through the years.  This year was another incredible year with so much to celebrate.

The highlights began for me with the 40th Anniversary Event recognizing our school's longevity and honoring our founders, and our past parents, teachers, and students.  Athletically, it was an outstanding year, culminating in our first State Baseball title.  Drama ran the gamut from the Region-winning One Act Play, Andrea's Got Two Boyfriends, to the musical Frog and Toad, a delight for all ages.  We continued to raise our environmental consciousness with the Year of the Ocean, ending our study with a combined music-art-science day.  Expansion of technology resources in the classrooms remains ongoing with the support of the Parents' Club.  We enjoyed fine student leadership at both the Middle and Upper School levels. The Lower School continued to support our local Food Pantry.  The Middle School donated personal items and made financial donations to Coweta County's effort to support the troops.  The Upper School continued their annual support of local community projects.   The entire school raised funds for Haiti relief. We graduated thirty-eight outstanding young men and women who are going on to the colleges of their choice, many with scholarships.

2009-2010 was a year during which we continued to stay true to our mission statement:  mens, corpus, spiritus, sodalitas (mind, body, spirit, camaraderie).  As we close this year, we look forward to 2010-2011 with great anticipation of our five year reaccreditation visit from SAIS-SACS and continued successes in all areas.

With thanks to our faculty, parents and student body,

Judith Griffith
