Leisure Line
With humble beginnings, Leisure Line in Haverhill, Ma started out making custom-embroidered shirts for local restaurants and bars. Over the last 25 years they have continued to expand and grow their business to now include all aspects of decorated apparel. To continue their commitment to growth and expansion, Leisure Line implemented the latest in digital direct to garment printing first with the single platen GT-541 and then adding the dual platen, production oriented GT-782 printers from Brother International Corp. All this in addition to their 20 heads of embroidery.
George Morrill, co-owner of Leisure Line, believes that staying ahead of the curve by utilizing the latest technologies has allowed them greater flexibility while being able to compete on small orders. "By providing multicolor prints at the same price points of one color screen printed jobs along with minimal set up costs , the ink jet printers have brought us contract work from traditional screen printers," said Morrill.

More specificly George recounted this example of the advantages of their ink jet printers:
An ambulance company has been using Leisure Line for their printing needs since we bought our first direct to garment printer. They had always had simple shirts with sayings on the back, but once they saw what we could do, they decided to try something different. They brought in a picture of an accident scene and we transformed it into an image for the back of a shirt. We then played with the colors and made the orange strips and lights on the ambulance stick out a little bit more than the rest of the colors so the eye would be drawn to the ambulance. We then increased the size of their logo and inserted it into the picture onto the side of the ambulance. They were very happy with the end product and we have gained a customer for life that does new t-shirts every year, along with numerous embroidery orders.
As important as being a good partner with our customers, is our relationship with our partner in ITNH Inc. "ITNH Inc has been an important partner with our Brother machines," said Morrill. "From the initial setup to answering questions along the way, ITNH is always available to help". Whether its in-site or technical support, all the way down to "getting my supplies to me fast. If I need ink the next day, Amy, ( Pizzuti ) at ITNH, has always been terrific in making sure I get it."
As in all business ventures large and small, taking care of customers is paramount, with the diversity of equipment at Leisure Line, they can handle your order no matter how big or small.

ITNH Seasonal Tech Tip:
As we approach the short days and long nights of winter, here's a couple of tips to remember in regard to your inkjet printer.
Allinkjet printershave an ideal set of environmental conditions, but a good rule of thumb is that they're happiest when things are comfortable ~50% relative humidity and ~70 degrees. These conditions can be tough to obtain especially in the dead of winter or middle of summer. A little work now, either by running the heat or a humidifier can help eliminate future downtime and nozzle dropouts in your printer. Be sure to check the specific requirements of your printer model.
