Wines for Parties or Family Gatherings
When our customers come in this time of year looking at wines for a party or big family gatherings they are generally looking for 2 things: something real good at a great price. Not that easily done usually, but we have made it a high priority this holiday season and have several very affordable gems.

This steel tank fermented beauty is light very easy to drink and has the crispness and fruit you would expect for something at twice the price. Make this one you white and it will be a hit, be sure to stock up, don't want to run out!
Charles and Charles Red, Washington Cabernet/Syrah blend $12.00
This real nice red is smooth and yummy and will go well with nearly anything in the way of party food.
Alandra White, Portugal $9.50
A fun white wine from Portugal, very floral and delicate. It has nice lime and lemon peel flavors. Crisp and fruity
Fineline Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 Paso Robles $11.00
If you to serve a cab that everyone thinks is very good and is perceived as a $25.00, then this is your wine. Very smooth with nice big black fruit flavors, easy to drink and a great bargain.
Michael Sullberg Merlot, California $10.50
Another great little red that is very smooth nice fruit and earthy flavors will be great for party because it s very easy to drink and will work with a lot of different hors de overs. Medium bodied at a great value.
Tortoise Creek 2009 Pinot Noir "Les Olivers Pays D'oc," France $11.00
This great pinot comes from the cooler Linoex wine growing region, in the Languedoc region of the South of France. Light to medium bodied. Has a great flavor of cherries and raspberries. Great price for Pinot Noir
Fire Road Sauvignon Blanc 2010 Marlborough, New Zealand $12.00
A fantastic Sauvignon Blanc with flavors of gooseberry, passion fruit and honey suckle
Sorelle Secco Italian Bubbles White and Rose both priced at $8.50
Holiday gatherings are never complete without bubbles, and these two cool little Italian sparkling wines fit the bill! Easy to drink and easy to pay for they are perfect when you need a sparkling wine for a larger group and don't want to spend too much. Clean, smooth and crisp; the rose has a little more fruit than the white, but both are great!
