Are you interested in helping to shape the future of the PTO? We are currently looking for volunteers to serve on the nominating committee to help select the leadership for the 2012-2013 school year. As a member of the nominating committee you will meet one or two times this spring with other committee members to help select candidates for the 2012-2013 PTO Executive Board. Southview Middle School Transition Information 

First Notice

 

April 27

5th Grade Visit to SVMS - 5th graders spend a part of their morning at SVMS with a special assembly, building tour and see an excerpt of the Spring Musical

 

August Events (Dates TBD): 

  • Schedules accessible via SchoolView
  • Get Connected Day / Meet your teachers
  • WEB Day - Where Everyone Belongs - 6th Grade Orientation (1/2 Day)

Other Notes: 

  • Math Placement letters will be mailed out in later April /early May. At this time, students should register for the Pre-Trans Math class and adjustments will be made at the time letters come out. Any additional changes will be made through the Counseling Dept. at SVMS
  • Letters will indicate more information regarding the OPTIONAL Math Placement testing taking place this spring/summer
  • Notification regarding INTERVENTIONS will be communicated in the spring/summer. Should a student need reading, math or other interventions the SVMS office will adjust schedules accordingly
  • EPS offers an opportunity to communicate needed information to the schools via the PARENT INPUT FORM.  They are available this spring

 

Last Chance to Order a Concord 2011/12 Yearbook  

Second Notice
Don't miss out on the memories! Fri., March 2, is the last day to order your 2011-2012 yearbook. Currently, 80% of the student body has ordered. Our final numbers to Lifetouch will only include pre-orders (no additional books will be available for purchase after arrival). To ensure your child receives a yearbook, fill out an order form and leave it in the school office by Fri., March 2.  Order forms can be found in the office on the wall rack. The basic softcover yearbook starts at $16.50. Upgrades and package options are available at additional costs, see order form for details. If placing an order without the form, please include the student's name, grade and teacher name. All checks should be made payable to Concord PTO.
