Greetings!
Well, you're on my list -- my list of folks who want to hear about upcoming writing workshops. So here it is: A new workshop starts this Saturday, Jan. 8, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m, at our house in San Francisco, 1966 48th Avenue. It runs for eight weeks. I'm also eager to start up a new series of Tuesday evening workshops. Please contact me at cary@carytennis.com if you would like to join, and when we have enough folks, we'll start it up. |
Now, I'm not sure whether you've done writing workshops before or not, or whether you know about the Amherst Writers and Artists method, which is what we use, so here's some info that might be helpful.

but why take my word for it?

The best way to find out what it's like is, of course, to try it. If you would like to sign up, you can sign up here. If you have questions, here is my detailed fact sheet. Or just call me or text me at 415 308-5685. Again, that's this Saturday, Jan. 8, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at our yellow swirly-painted house at 1966 48th Avenue, between Pacheco and Ortega at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. The thing runs for 8 weeks.

how i'm working this e-mail thing.
|
You probably get my regular wacky e-mail newsletter, but I will from time to time write to you solely to let you know what's going on with the workshops. That means you might sometimes get more than one e-mail from me in a short period of time. You are on my "interested in workshops" list. Once you attend, you move to the "workshop participants" list. You can change your profile by clicking the button at the bottom of this e-mail that says "Updated profile/E-mail address" if you want to hear about other things, or stop getting these e-mails, or whatever. (I just thought I'd let you know how I'm working this thing.)

Maybe if I got too many texts I wouldn't like it any more than e-mail. But right now I like texting. It's so quick and easy and immediate! You can text me at ... wait a minute, what is my number? ... 415 308-5685.
