Fall Opportunity Sale (FOS) 2012

30 days and counting!

Mint Trefoils

Can you believe that the annual Fall Opportunity Sale (FOS) is only a month away!  FOS starts on September 21, so plan now to participate.  You won't want to miss the opportunity to earn funds for your troop or group!  We've streamlined FOS this year to make it even easier for girls to participate and earn funds for activities. So, don't delay -- sign up now to attend a FOS meeting in your area to pick up your materials and learn more about how simple it is to participate in FOS. See more details about the Fall Opportunity Sale here.

Click here for a complete listing of FOS trainings. Register online at  www.kansasgirlscouts.org and click on "Online Registration", then "Adult Event Registration." Please contact your FOS Service Unit Manager or your Product Sales Staff Member for further information about how to participate.

Girl Scouting 101

Online Learning Opportunity

All volunteers are

encouraged to takeGirl Scouting 101 (GS101), an easy-to-use onlinecourse which introduces volunteers to Girl Scouts' inspiring national leadership experience, from Journey resources and The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting to cookie sales, safety guidelines, and much more. Spend about 45-50 minutes learning online-whenever you can fit it into your day. Access GS101 from the GSKH Volunteer Development page.

Online Registration

A special note for Troop Leaders!

Troop Leaders: if you register or re-register troop members through the online system, please continue to collect a paper registration form with a parent/guardian signature for girl registrations, and an adult's own signature for adult registrations.  Indicate on the form that the registration has been submitted online.  These forms can be turned in to your closest GSKH office or mailed directly to the Wichita Girl Scout Center.  Remember, the online registration system gives troop leaders quick and easy access to their troop roster, and also allows for simple payment using a credit or debit card.  If you have questions, contact your MVP specialist or our online registration help desk.
