Your Cookie Sale is off to a great start with 1,280,000 boxes of cookies initially ordered by troops. That's 83% to your goal of 1,545,000! We are very excited to report that Kansas Girl Scouts have sold over 16,000 Cookie Shares which is already 3,000 more boxes than last year. Way to go Girl Scouts! Upcoming Adult Learning Opportunities
Plan ahead to get the most of Volunteer training!

Make sure to check out the calendar to the right for details on upcoming Adult Learning Opportunities! There will be Outdoor Leadership sessions scheduled this Spring, and more will be posted as they become available. You can find these, along with upcoming Program Opportunities, on the Events Calendar, and online registration makes signing up a snap!
Note: in order to sign up for Adult Learning Opportunities, you will be directed to a new registration system. As a currently registered adult Girl Scout, you'll just need to *ACTIVATE* your account, instead of creating a new one. Get informed, Speak up, And invest in girls
Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) has launched the boldest cause campaign dedicated to girls' leadership issues in our nation's history. Girl Scouts will use the occasion of its 100th birthday to work toward getting the issue of girls' leadership on the national agenda. The cause - ToGetHerThere - will help break down barriers that hinder girls from leading and achieving the highest ranks in all fields and industries, from science and technology to business and government. Celebrate The Green Way Girl Scouts Go Greensburg!
Girl Scouts from across Kansas are descending onto Greensburg, KS April 28-29 for a 100th anniversary celebration. The Council will be celebrating a century of Girl Scout traditions while including new initiatives and fun activities! The weekend will be packed full of fun games and entertainment, exhibits and booths, educational programs, camping, community service projects and much more! Troops and families can CAMP in Greensburg for the weekend.

GSKH offers several award options which can be approved and given at the Service Unit level.. Service Unit awards are for service performed during the current Girl Scout year. Click here for details on the SU awards, and click here for the order form.

Be a PROUD Girl Scout! 
Wear your pin or uniform on March 12
March 12, 2012 has been designated as Proud Girl Scout Day. Girl and adult Girl Scouts are encouraged to wear uniforms or pins to let your peers see how proud you are to be a Girl Scout. And of course, patches are available.
Click here for a Proud Girl Scout Order Form or a half-page sheet to share. Patch orders will be due to council shops by March 31, 2012.

More Cookie Sale Details
Girl Scouts can take orders and sell through March 11
Troop volunteers can pick-up more cookies at any of the 44 Cookie Cupboards to fill additional orders and for booth sales. Watch for a listing of the Cookie Cupboards in your area when you pick-up your initial order of cookies. Cookie Cupboard lists will also be posted on our website.
When picking up your initial order of cookies, be sure to double count the cookie cases before you leave with the cookies in your vehicle and sign a receipt. When girls pick-up their cookie orders, double count the cookie boxes with the parent and have the parent sign a receipt. Be sure to keep the receipts for future reference.
