 Your Images Needed
The closing ceremony at this year's "Party in the Park" promises to be moving, uplifting, and memorable. As luminaries light the darkness and music fills the air, we will honor sarcoma patients, survivors and those lost to sarcoma. We ask you to send us pictures of all who have had sarcoma, so we can honor or remember them as their names are read.
In addition we will have a time to remember those who have died from sarcoma cancers during the last year. If you would like your loved one to be included in this time of remembrance, please send us their name and a few images.
To submit pictures of those who have had sarcoma, please attach jpegs to an email, indicating who the person is, by clicking here. If this link does not work, please use email to wyckoffris@yahoo.com. |
The Bidding Has Begun
Now through July 23rd, you can check out and bid at our RIS On-Line Auction. This year's auction already offers over $31,000 in great items, including: retail gift certificates, dining opportunities, art, recreation, books, spas, experiences, treats, wine and liquor.
You can place bids on-line, and can submit winning bids even if you can't attend the Party - simply by placing internet "proxy bids" on items you really want.
There is even time to donate an auction item! To learn more, click here. |
Volunteers Still Needed! Over 200 volunteers are needed at this year's Party in the Park. If you are attending, or are thinking of attending, could you give a couple of hours to make the Party really special for everyone? Dozens of opportunities and many time slots are available. A special need is to host in the children's game area. To learn more and volunteer, please use this link. You also may call Nancy Hendrickson directly, at 651-214-5821. |
