Support Our Auction
We're off to a great start with donations. We invite you to build on this momentum, contributing fabulous additions from you, your friends or your community businesses. Asking is easier than you think, and easier than ever with our enhanced support system. For a full suite of auction resources, including great ideas and donation forms, please visit here.
This year, a "Super Auction" will follow the regular silent auction, highlighting special items that will remain open for bids for an extra time. Also watch for the RIS internet auction, starting July 5. So many ways to support RIS!

Dr. Keith Skubitz - Absolutely, Science Helps
University of Minnesota Professor and medical oncologist Keith Skubitz has been treating people with sarcoma cancer for over 20 years. Maybe, he is your doctor. What he really seems passionate about is finding ways for science to help doctors deliver better treatments to their patients. This can mean anything from more effective drugs to portable pumps, which allow patients to bring their chemo home.
To read an interview with Dr. Skubitz and learn more about his promising work, some done in collaboration with RIS, click here. |

Inspiration...
Sometimes, we're mad. Lord knows, cancer gives us reasons. First it stuns my thoughts, then it makes me cry. I can't sleep! What happened to my hair? I can't get out of this chair. My mouth hurts. My stomach hurts. My leg hurts. Violence has been committed upon my body. All I can do is sleep. Will I ever walk again? Why can't I just be normal? What happens if I die? My baby!
Yes, it's okay to be mad. Just don't forget to fall back into the Love again. It's there, waiting for you. It was always there.

Our goals are to fund research that may find a cure for sarcoma cancers, to provide education for medical personnel and the public, and to support patients and their loved ones. We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization, which allows over 97% of our revenues to directly support our mission!
Sincerely,
Peter Wyckoff, President Karen Wyckoff Rein in Sarcoma Foundation |
