Greetings! |  As chairman of this year's event, I would like to personally invite you to join us for our next "All Hands" Meeting on Tuesday, June 14th (See details below.) Plans are well underway. This year's wonderful event program is complete and registration for the Monday, July 25th "Party in the Park" and the Sarcoma Family Picnic have begun. I hope you will be able to give your participation and leadership to make our 11th celebration and our 10th year as an organization our best ever! Thank you for your interest. Allan

"All Hands" Meeting - June 14th |
 J oin the excitement. Bring your talents, interests, and commitment to our next "All Hands" meeting on Tuesday evening June14th in Shoreview. . At 6:30 pm our social time will include tasty treats and time to visit with other volunteers. The planning meeting itself will begin at 7:00 and will end promptly at 9:00 pm. Auction Items Needed! - It's Fun and Easy!
Our Silent Auction is shaping up to be truly wonderful with over $10,000 worth of auction items already received!, Donations received include: Vacations, restaurant and retail gift certificates, electronics, children's baskets, fine art and jewelry, books, wine and liquor, and much more. But we need many more auction donations by July 1st to reach our goal of at least $30,000 to make this year's auction all it can be. Ask at the stores you shop at or the restaurants you eat and the places you enjoy. Have a summer or winter cabin you could donate for a week? Bring your auction donations to the June 14th All Hands Meeting or drop them off at one our seven Twin Cities drop off locations. We have lots of great ideas and donating is simple fun and easy. Sign Up To Volunteer for the "Party in the Park"!

Sign Up to Volunteer at this year's RIS Party in the Park on Monday, July 25th . Volunteers are needed in shifts starting about noon through clean-up after the close of the "Party" until around 11:00 pm. We need help in event and auction set-up, the sarcoma family picnic, event registration,silent auction, children's arcade, merchandise, luminaries, sarcoma corner, hosting, and more. Most are two or less hour shifts and only a few need "training" before the big day. Click here to learn more and sign up for one or more volunteer opportunities and shifts. 2011 RIS Raffle Underway! | 
$1,000 in Cash or an iPad 2- Grand Prizes!
Raffle tickets are now available for the 2011 Party in the Park Raffle. The Grand Prize is $1,000 in cash and the first prize is a brand new iPad-2! Tickets are just $5 and books of five tickets are just $25. These fantastic prizes were generously donated by Building Arts LLC. Call or email our Raffle Chairperson, Connie Dow ((612) 986-8876) to buy or order RIS Raffle Tickets to sell to all your friends, relatives and colleagues. They sell like hotcakes. Raffle Tickets will also be available at the June 14th "All Hands" Meeting. |
