As chairman of this year's event, I would like to personally invite you to join us for this year's "Party in the Park" Kick Off Meeting on Thursday, March 10th (See details below.) I hope you will be able to give your participation and leadership in order to make this a great celebration.

"2011 Celebration & Kick Off" Meeting - March 10th
Join the excitement. Bring your talents, interests, and commitment to our 2011 Celebration and Kick Off Meeting, on Thursday evening March 10th. At 6:30 pm our social time includes tasty treats (cheese & crackers, delicious dessert, fruit, juice and coffee) as well an opportunity to chat informally with U of M doctors and researchers. The planning meeting itself will begin at  7:00 and will end promptly at 9:00 pm.

Kick Off Meeting Highlights

Thursday's Kick-Off meeting for the 2011 RIS "Party in the Park," on July 25th, promises to be fun, informative, and critical to the success of this

year's event. Our meeting will include the following highlights:
  • Meet with U of M Doctors and Researchers
  • Review highlights of Rein in Sarcoma's year including $176,000 in new sarcoma research funding
  • View our first event video: RIS "Party in the Park 2010"
  • Unveiling the new 2011 Event Image from photographer Greg Murphy 
  • Organizing meetings of RIS 2011 Event Committees, including:
  • Media and PR
  • Event Program and Logistics
  • Silent Auction
  • RIS Family Picnic
  • Registration 
  • Raffle
  • Development of our "Red Flags" of Sarcoma Educational Campaign.

Kick Off Meeting Map
The Kick Off meeting will be held on the West Bank of the University of Minnesota Hospital across from the new Amplatz Children's Hospital at 2512 7th Street in Minneapolis. For directions using Goggle Maps, click here.

Free Parking: a voucher for Free Parking will be available at the meeting. Please park in Blue lot directly across from the building.
