Mark your calendar, invite all your family and friends and plan to join us for the 10th Annual Rein in Sarcoma on Monday evening, July 26th at Cafesjian's Carousel and the Como Park Visitor Center in St. Paul presented by CVS

Ruth Bachman discuses her sarcoma journey  | RIS and U of M unveil new video for sarcoma patients "Living Life: Cancer Patients Talk About Amputation" a new video for sarcoma and other
cancer patients who are contemplating the need for amputation in
treating your sarcoma or other cancers is now available . The Rein in Sarcoma Foundation
funded the production of this video which features the stories of three
sarcoma survivors, all of whom who have had amputations as apart of
their sarcoma cancer treatments. Although the impact of an amputation is profound, this inspiring
five-part video is a testament to the human spirit. It clearly
demonstrates that the recovery process, both physically and emotionally,
is transformational and leads to lives that are flourishing,
productive, and joyful. Produced by Dr. Edward Cheng, with Dr. Bill
Robiner and Evie Sands, and Masonic

RIS Auction Update Work is well underway for this year's Silent Auction with high hopes
for our most successful event ever. The RIS auction gets underway on July 5th as both a website and an Ebay auction which will culminate at the event with over 300 great items expected. Our goal is to raise $25,000 in celebration
of the 10th Anniversary of the "Party in the Park". You can help make this year's auction the best ever by donating an item for his year's event. Learn how... Your social network provides the best sources for donations

All Hands Volunteers Discuss new T-Shirts  | All Hands Meeting- June 10th Plan now to join us
at our next RIS 2010 "All Hands" meeting on Thursday evening,
June 10th at the Wyckoff's. Join us at 6:30 to socialize
and get to know one another. We will also have great desserts available!
The
"All Hands" meeting gets underway at 7:00 pm. We need the
talent and enthusiasm of many new and returning volunteers at the next "All Hands" meeting. We will have new 2010 RIS informational posters, flyers and raffle tickets available for distribution. To learn more or to register for the meeting, click here.

Join us in support of the Second Annual Race For Grace Race for Grace which is set for Saturday, August 7th
at the Johnny Cake Ridge Park (East side) in Apple Valley, MN.
The Race will again feature a 1 Mile walk/run and a 5K walk/run. Last
year's first Race for Grace attracted over 400 participants and raised
over $33,000 for Rein in Sarcoma! This year's goal is 600 participants and $40,000 in support of Rein in Sarcoma. Read more....

Save your treasures for RIS Garage Sale

The Karen Wyckoff Rein in Sarcoma Foundation is the primary sarcoma cancer foundation
in the upper Midwest. Our goals are to find a cure for sarcoma cancers through
funding research, education for medical personnel and the public and patient
support. As an all volunteer non-profit organization over 98% of all revenue directly supports our mission.
