Check out our new website...it is fantastic.
We are SO pleased to announce that our new Rein in Sarcoma website has been launched! Thanks to a dedicated team of RIS volunteers (listed below) and Team IB ( InternetBroadcasting) we have a website that will now more than ever help us achieve our mission of Research, Support and Education. A few of our new website highlights include: - Social Networking Opportunities: Connect with others who are going through what you are.
- Sarcoma Stories: Read stories from patients, survivors and our loved ones who have passed. We also invite you to tell your own story.
- Current Sarcoma News: Rein In Sarcoma's RSS news feeds are integrated from MedWorm.com,
and contain links to studies and articles that are indexed with key
words related to different types of sarcoma.
- Understanding Sarcoma:
Hearing the words Sarcoma Cancer for the first time is unsettling
mostly because it is new terminology. Our Understanding Sarcoma section
is easier to navigate to help get the information you need NOW!
Background on our new Website:Earlier this year we shared our news about winning a Website Makeover as part of the Sierra Bravo's Overnight Website Challenge.
Rein in Sarcoma was one of 12 non profit organizations that got teamed
up with professional web developers in the Twin Cities to totally
re-design our website. We partnered with Team IB who did a fantastic job giving us more than we ever expected.
