Newsletter

Greetings!

WELCOME EVERYONE!  Our online community is growing and we are honored to have you be a part of the journey.

To begin with, we would like to send our love and compassion out to the people of Haiti as they recover from the loss and devastation to their country.   Although your burdens are heavy and your loss is great, know that people everywhere are sending you love and we hope that each new day will lighten the heaviness you feel in your hearts today.

If you are interested in donating to a charity, we encourage you to follow the tips on Charity Navigator, to find a charity that you can trust.

As we celebrate the beginning of a new year, I would like to take a few minutes to reflect on where we have been and share our goals for 2010 with you.  Our Featured Article this month will review Where we have been... Where we are going & How you can assist us reach our goals in 2010.  I encourage you to share your ideas and resources with us, so we can enhance our website and newsletter in the coming year.

Each month our newsletter will feature a new article giving you a different perspective on how to assist your friends and family through the grieving process. Please feel free to pass our newsletter on to anyone that may benefit from our articles and inspirational messages.

Have a suggestion or a story you would like to share?  We would love to hear from you.

With Love & Gratitude,
Lori

Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.

This Month's Inspiration - A Mile-Wide Smile
HOPE & JOY ARE STILL ALIVE

A friend of mine sent me a link yesterday to a special on CNN about Haiti that demonstrated that Hope and Joy are still alive in the midst of such devastation and loss.  The segment on CNN was titled a Mile-Wide Smile.   If you have not had the opportunity to view this segment, I encourage you to Click Here.  You cannot help but have hope and joy in your heart when you see the smile on this boys face (Kiki) as he is rescued from the rubble in Haiti.  This little boy's smile shows the energy of the human spirit shinning through.
