Success!

According to the emails, phone calls and conversations since May 7, it appears Cap2Cap 2011 was the best yet.  A lot of hard work from a lot of people made it a great day.  If you rode, you know the weather was perfect, and the added signage, volunteer staff, music and assorted extras made this year's ride one to remember for all the right reasons.  For those who have grown with us over the years, and given feedback on how to make it better each year, thanks for staying loyal to the ride.  For all you new riders (over 700 of you!)--hope you're hooked. I'm guessing you discovered a great way to see the future richness of the Virginia Capital Trail, while supporting our efforts to make it an amenity all Virginians will be proud of.

Thanks everyone--what an amazing day it was!

Beth Weisbrod
