From the Executive Director
Partnerships are an amazing thing.  Whether I'm talking with a citizen from Varina who is so excited for the Trail to come through their community, they offer their help.  Or if I'm meeting with a sponsor of the upcoming Cap2Cap event, who gives generously so we can put on a first class fundraiser.  Or, when volunteers step up to help us with our events.  If there is something to point to which says, the community really wants this trail, it's the active partnerships popping up in astounding numbers for us.  Take some time to look at all the logos we list as official sponsors of the Cap2Cap this year--and there are more to come.  It grows every year, just like the numbers of participants and volunteers.  Thank you to everyone who calls, emails, sends checks, signs up and otherwise offers their valuable partnership to the Foundation.  Community support is the reason the Trail will become the world class destination we know it can be.
