Walking to the restaurant today... Greetings!
Walking to the restaurant today, thinking about what to say in the weekly email I realized that tomorrow is the first day of spring! Yay! The orange trees in the neighborhood smelled great to me and to the bee that chased me so to honor spring and that bee I am making one of Carlos Munoz V.'s favorite cocktails The Abeja Naranja (Orange Bee) with his Herencia Blanco Tequila! Tommy has a wonderfully light fresh, sushi grade Hawaiian Yellowfin Tuna, Spiced Papaya Salad and Avocado salsa- (can't tell we are happy for the freshness of spring)
Quetzal Guerrero is being accompanied by an upright bassist tomorrow (Saturday March 20) at 8:30 pm. They are alot of fun! Reservations are not required but I do encourage them.
Walter Molina is bringing Flamenco to Ortega 120 on Friday March 26 at 8pm! The dancer is amazing! Frida night usually run quite the wait for a table so please make a reservation at www.ortega120.com or call 3107924120.
My friend Yvette Mangual has arranged a group of artists to show here on Thursday, March 24 (also my dad's birthday- Happy Birthday Dad!) Below are some samples of the work, she will also be having music, I am not sure who but, I am hoping it is her incredible talented husband! We will be having an Artists reception at 6:30pm.
We look forward to your visit and wish you a wonderful weekend!
