This holiday has been so wonderful for us. We have seen many friends and family come by and visit us since we have basically been in the building 24/7 making tamales and hosting many Holiday parties. The thoughtful visits, cards &gifts from people who started out as guests and turned into family have been absolutly amazing and seeing so many friends coming tonight before mass made it worth being open. Thank you for all the toys for the toy drive and thank you for letting us be part of your holiday. Below is a fun recipe for a quick cocktail (not tequila). We hope you will enjoy them this holiday.

1.5 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

.5 oz Vanilla Vodka

3 oz half & half

1t Cinnamon (canela)

1t course granulated sugar

1T Abuelita chocolate syrup (Yes they do make that now- very cool!)

Combine all ingredients in shaker over ice, shake vigorously but don't let all the sugar melt

 

Strain to a sugar & cinnamon rimmed martini glass laced with chocolate syrup- you can always add more Abuelita Chocolate - you know I do.
