Hello everyone,
The past days have offered us rain, wind and even humidity to contend with.  I've tried to keep my ears during class as you have shared your learnings.  Here are a few tips you have shared with me!

Mittens
Even if you think you can swing a class without mittens, when your hands hit the cement walls to do push-ups and dips, you wish you had a little cover-up.  Even if you bring along a tiny pair of gloves, it will save your skin!

Vests aren't friendly
Although vests are really cute fashion-wise (I think so anyways, right?), you can't tie a vest around you waist when you need to strip it off.  Really, no option here unless you want to toss it in the grass...

You're hot!
Although the 2 minutes prior to class start can be a tad chilly, you are discovering how little clothing you really need.  I need to share a big learning with you on this one.  Let's say you get to the compass and you're steamy but you don't feel like taking off a layer, chances are it's going to drag down your workout and ability to give 100% without you even realizing it.  Trust me...if you are overheating, take the 30 seconds to tie it around your waist and increase the intensity of your workout!

Reminder of class change - for one week only
November 5th at 6:30 pm - Intense Strength
November 6th at 6:30 pm - Tread Powerfully
Sincerely,

Susan Abell
