What's New at www.ecoplum.com June 2012 Newsletter
|
Greetings!
Ahhh June! Best month EVER! Spring is in full bloom, school gets out for summer, reunions are happening all around, and my husband and I get to celebrate our birthdays! We really had a blast celebrating and the weather was to die for! Hope you have had a chance to get outside and enjoy these beautiful days too! But don't forget your sunscreen! Chryso has a great review of natural sunscreen products including the line from one of our newest partners Elemental Herbs. You may be busy getting the kids ready for camp and stocking up on t-shirts and polos, but buyer beware, cotton is not as safe as it's made out to be. Jennifer's article explains why organic cotton is so much better for the environment and your kids than conventional cotton. We are thrilled to be carrying our first line of organic cotton eco friendly clothing for kids with our new partner Dhana EcoKids. Also, don't forget Father's Day is June 17th! Still haven't gotten anything for Dad? It's not too late to order for delivery before the 17th, plus we are offering FREE SHIPPING through the end of June! If you are not sure what to get, we've got plenty of eco friendly gift suggestions in my latest blog post and in Robin's picks for the designing dad! Also in this issue, my new BFF Mark Ruffalo talks about his anti fracking rally in this EcoClipz, and we're trying something new by adding some of our EcoAction items to the newsletter. Let us know what you think! Wishing you all the best. Let's all sing together now: "SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!" Best regards,
Gia Machlin
