Special
Olympics helps unite Panda Express employees

When Panda Express employees arrived at the 2008 Special Olympics
New Mexico State Summer Games in May, they knew they were helping a
good cause. But what they weren’t expecting was just how much their
contribution to Special Olympics was going to bring them together.
On Saturday, May 31 nearly two dozen Panda Express employees from
three locations cooked, delivered and served some 2,000 lunches to
crowds of SONM athletes and families at the UNM Track and Field
Stadium in Albuquerque.

Thoughts
from Randy

I am writing these thoughts to the athletes of Special Olympics New
Mexico.
I don’t know how many of you listened to our Presidential candidates
Barack Obama and John McCain, but if you did, you probably heard
them say the word “change” a lot. These two leaders feel strongly
about our country needing to take a different direction.
When I would hear them say the word change, I would think about you,
and how you have changed the direction of my thinking.
