Virginia Will Receive $25 Million for Homelessness Prevention & Rehousing
VCEH Resources to Assist in Implementation
VCEH has prepared a brief on the new Homelessness Prevention Fund which was created as part of the $787 billion economic stimulus package that President Obama just signed into law. The brief pulls together existing research, tools and resources to assist communities with implementation of these new funds.
Note that the brief includes tools and resources which will be updated on a regular basis and can be accessed from the VCEH website. If you have or know of a tool or resource to be included, please let Phyllis know.
VCEH's intention is to support community efforts to prevent and end homelessness; therefore please feel free to provide feedback on the brief as well as to let us know what additional information would be helpful.

The creation of the Homelessness Prevention Fund presents us with an unprecedented opportunity to put in place a statewide system for prevention and rehousing and work together to identify and implement the best approaches to preventing homelessness.
