This Sunday is the Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost

August 12, 2012

Our monthly Young and the Restless service will be offered this week at 9:00 am. This month, we will hear the story of the young boy who offered his loaf of bread and fish for Jesus to feed the 5,000 people.  At the 8 and 10:30 am services, we will hear the continuation of John's gospel: Jesus declares that HE is the bread of life, and that whoever comes to him will never be hungry or thirsty. Coffee hour follows the 10:30 service. Sundays at 10:30 in the summer, the church school children gather in the classroom, then walk to the Ropes Garden, work on the Lifebridge Garden, or listen to a story from the Bible. They join us in church at 11am for Holy Communion.
