Robert Knight, Product Manager - Chart Beverage Systems, joined Chart in January 2010.
Mr. Knight has a B.S. Degree in Engineering from the U.S. Millitary Academy, West Point, NY, and also a Masters in Systems Management from the Univ. of Southern California. Bob held numerous positions in the U.S. Army and then became a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He recently retired holding rank of Colonel after serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Mr. Knight also worked many positions in the Industrial Gas business such as Field Engineer, Regional Manager of Customer Service, and Director of Process Operations. In the area of field engineering, Mr. Knight gained extensive experience in numerous industrial processes to include food freezing and chilling, heat treating, combustion, inerting, ph control, waste water treatment, cold processes, and many other industrial gas applications.
With Mr. Knight's vast knowledge, he is overseeing the manufacturing and engineering for Chart's CO2 bulk gas and syrup applications.

Carbo Mizer 550 Now Available
Chart's Carbo-Mizer 550 |
Chart recently introduced a new product into the existing line of Carbo Mizer style beverage storage tanks.
The Carbo Mizer 550 was designed for increased storage capacity at an economical price in order to meet the growing challenges of CO2 distribution. The Carbo Mizer 550 cuts the capital cost of storage capacity up to 10% on a cost/lb of storage basis.
The tank features improved accuracy in contents measurement by using differential pressure and continues to utilize Chart's unique vacuum maintenance system to ensure optimized long term performance. Similar to the other size tanks in the Carbo Mizer line, the 550 is equipped with an instant liquid withdrawal port to accommodate liquid use or high flow applications.
