Relative to OSHPD governed installations in the state of California, Chart Inc. has obtained pending anchorage pre-approvals (OPA numbers) on its line of Perma-Cyls; 300 liter through 2000 liter. OSHPD is the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, a division of the California Health and Human Services Agency. Many hospitals prefer fixed equipment with an OPA-number, which then leads to architectural firms requesting them. Gary Degenhardt is the Distributor Market Sales Manager for Chart's Distribution and Storage Group.
Gary joined Chart in 2001 as a Regional Sales Manager. In 2004, Gary served as the Orca MicroBulk Sales Manager for North America as well as assisting with sales and market development efforts in Europe, China, and South America.
Gary has worked in the industrial gas industry for over 20 years. Prior to coming to Chart, he had a 15 year career with Air Products in the sale of liquid bulk, industrial cylinder, specialty gases, and process chemicals.
In Gary's current position he oversees and supports sales to independent gas distributors, continuously improving the Growth Partner program, and managing ongoing relationships with the Buying Groups. |
