Third Grade Bibles
On Sunday we will present Bibles to seven third grade children. It is our honor to give them a copy of the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible in hopes that they will read and begin to understand it with the aid of their parents and church family. They are invited to two classes during Sunday School with their parents on November 7 and 14. These classes will help them begin to use their bible, to find verses, to discover it's okay to underline special passages and to begin to understand the context in which the bible was set. Please keep them in your prayers.

Wednesday Night Live Mission Service!
Fourteen, 5th & 6th graders from Wednesday Night Live have entered upon a new adventure! For 8 weeks the children will be going to perform some kind of mission service at a local facility. They have designed red t-shirts with the words, "WNL Helping Hands" a hand and "Faith United Presbyterian Church" on the front and "Team God 01" on the back in bright green lettering. They are very excited to help others in the name of Christ. They have already carried bricks at Calvary Baptist Church, delivered pumpkins to FUPC neighbors, worked at Rainbow Riders and will help at the Monmouth Nursing Home and Jamieson center before they're done. Please pray for them as they continue on this exciting journey.
