ELCA Malaria Campaign |
Thanks-And Keep Up the Good Work!
Our participation in the ELCA Malaria Campaign has been very successful to date. In fact, we have already surpassed our $2500 goal!
Through the campaign, the ELCA is joining hands with Lutheran church bodies in Africa and becoming part of a historic global movement to say "Enough is enough!" No child (or other person) should die of a disease that is preventable and treatable. Therefore, the ELCA has committed to raising $15 million to help make malaria history. The mission is to teach people to recognize the symptoms of malaria, promote prevention, and provide treatment and prevention resources.
If you have not yet contributed to this life-saving effort, please prayerfully consider doing so-perhaps one mosquito net for each member of your family.
If you have made a contribution, please consider continuing to donate throughout the three-year campaign; envelopes will soon be available.
As of this week, the ELCA has raised over $3,000,000 for this vital effort, with another $500,000 in future commitments! Great to be a part of this! Watch the ELCA Malaria Campaign Video
