Ordination of Dan Kuckuck

Dan Kuckuck

Saturday, August 27 is a special day in the life of Dan Kuckuck and our whole Resurrection Family. His ordination at 10:00 AM at Resurrection into the Pastoral Office of Word and Sacrament is a time for thanksgiving and praise to God. Little Daniel grew up in our midst. We've seen him mature into the fine man he is today. We've prayed and supported him through his years of seminary and internship.

Now we send him off to St. Paul's Lutheran Church as one of their associate pastors. This is a large congregation with excellent ministry. Pastor Dan will not only serve well, but will also learn well. Thanks to all who have given of themselves to support Dan's journey throughout the years and on the occasion of his ordination. We especially salute his family, parents Bob and Terri, and Elena and David, his sister and brother.

Update from Sara Drebes

HeSarallo!!

I have updated my blog with info and pictures - the pictures rearranged themselves when I published the post and I can't figure out how to fix them.  They are a little out of order, so I hope it's not too confusing.  Check it out when you get a chance - www.saradrebes.blogspot.com

Also, some of you love to send my packages and I love to receive them! :)  However, this year there is a slight difference in the mailing process.  The address is the same, the only change is that you will need to email me a list of items in the package that I will then forward on to customs.  This will help customs to process our mail faster, hopefully getting it up the mountain to us a little quicker. :)

Please stay in touch!

Love, Sara

"Here is the truly Christian life, here is faith really working by love, when a man applies himself with joy and love to the works of that freest servitude in which he serves others voluntarily and for nought, himself abundantly satisfied in the fullness and riches of his own faith."
