| Adult Furum Review of Survey Results | |
This Sunday, October 17 is the re-scheduled date for the Adult Forum Report and Discussion on the Congregational Survey. You may review the results of the survey on discerning God's purpose online (file in .docx format).

| New Thursday Night Bible Sttudy | |
Please join us Thursday night's at 7 pm at RLC for a new bible study. We will be using a People of Faith study from Augsburg Fortress called "A Gardener, Two Travelers, and a Cheat", the stories of Adam, Abraham, Sarah, and Jacob. Please contact Terri and Bob Kuckuck at the.kuckucks@gmail.com to insure we order enough materials.

| CROP Walk on October 17th |
 Please join us in our annual ecumenical participation with local church groups in the Fredericksburg CROP Walk on October 17th. The three mile walk raises money for Church World Services which helps people around the world build wells, irrigation systems, and assists refugees.
It's easy to be involved!

| Got Acorns? |
 Got any healthy acorns laying around? Box some up in a shoebox or a ziplock bag and bring them to the church office. Gene Ernst will take the acorns to the state nursery for sprouting and later planting as part of the state's reforrestation program. Help us be good stewards of all of God's resources!

| Ordination Photos for Pastor David Drebes |
 Our own David Drebes was ordained and installed as Pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Basye, VA on October 8th. Bishop Jim Mauney presided over the ordination, and Assistant to the Bishop Pastor Chip Gunsten preached. Pastors Carol and Jim presented David with his ordination stole. Two dozen clergy layed hands on David as part of this sacred rite. Combined choirs from Prince of Peace and Resurrection provided the music. | COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2010 |
 It's back-bigger and better than last year's! Mark your calendar now for the Community Health Fair on Saturday, October 30, from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m., at Resurrection Lutheran Church. Free health screenings, demos, consultations, adult flu shots (while supplies last), and more. This year, the Germanna Community College - Dental Hygienist Program will be offering free dental sealants and fluoride treatments for children while supplies last. So bring your family out and learn more about your health and your family's health. Please tell your friends and neighbors! The event is sponsored by Resurrection Lutheran Church Health Ministry.
