Confirmation Classes Start September 12th

Confirmation classes start up again on Sunday September 12th.  Starting this year, classes will go from 9:45 to 10:45 every Sunday morning.  There will be no more Sunday afternoon sessions!

If someone in your family is going to be in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, please e-mail Eric@ResurrectionPeople.org to confirm their attendance at confirmation!

Thanks to Kelli Slunt, Denise Guest, and Spike Roberts for volunteering to serve as faculty this year!

Thrivent Choice

TCVicki Thorpe Gellerman of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is sponsoring the goodies at the September 26th coffee hour and will be sharing information on the Thrivent Choice Dollars - - a way for Thrivent members to support Lutheran organizations - including our own church and preschool.

Christian Education Update

Our Christian Education Team is looking for anyone who would be interested in providing Nursery services during Sunday School?  It would be from 9:45 - 10:45 Sunday mornings.  If we had a few volunteers, we could rotate them.  This will be primarily for children under the age of 2.

Secondly, did you know that we are planning a HS Sunday school class?

 Contact Terri Kuckuck for details!

"And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches.   Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.   For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints."

2 Corinthians 8:1-4
