New Fall Programming
This Fall we are starting many varied programs, all with our new building still under construction.  Thanks to our Staff and Ministry Teams for continuing a vibrant program even with all the challenges of an active construction site!

Our Preschool opens again in the Old Fellowship Hall as the new addition continues to near completion.

We look forward to the visit of our Bishop on October 26th, and hope the new building will be very close to completion by then!

Please read the September Newsletter which is now posted with all the details.
The Gift of Giving
Life is a gift. A good Christian, following Christ, gives it away.

This is one of just so many profound thoughts written my one of the great Lutherans we've come to know in Virginia -- William Matthews of Harrisonburg.

His latest article in this month's The Lutheran is entitled "How Much for the Lord" is so full of great theological thought that you'll see quotes from it for some time to come!

To see all 29 of the articles he has written for The Lutheran, go to:

Doesn't this thought fit well with the Vision statement of our congregation?
Giving our lives joyfully in witness and service!.

Grace and Peace!
