This program is great for that person who spends most of the day thinking about getting in shape but never does anything about it. Fitness 101 eases you into it slowly, completing the 3.8 mile distance after 7-weeks of training. Walkers and runners are welcomed. You will love it, make new friends, and get fit all at the same time! Many of our Fitness 101 graduates continue training with our Half-Marathon, Marathon, or Triathlon programs. BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS |
 Our first annual Business Excellence Awards recognize excellence in business leadership and honor businesses in our community that achieve outstanding success regardless of the circumstances. The criteria used to judge the applicants are excellence in overall business achievement, corporate citizenship, customer service, and workplace environment. Local, State and Federal Government representatives visit U.S. Department of Labor's Homestead Job Corps Center during the month of February.
Job Corps is a federally funded program through the U.S. Department of Labor. ResCare operates many Job Corps centers throughout the nation, including the one in Homestead.
