Your "Gently Used Business Clothing Donation Could Help a Woman in Financial Crisis Land a Job | |
For financially disadvantaged women, the struggle to find a job to support themselves and their families is made more difficult without appropriate attire for an interview.
These women are not looking for a handout; but they do need a helping hand.
As you go through your closet at this change of seasons, please consider donating nearly-new and gently-used professional items that you no longer wear - clothes, shoes, purses & accessories - to the CALIFORNIA CONCIERGE SUIT DRIVE, going on March 15-April 30.
Your clothing donation is tax-deductible and will be delivered by California Concierge directly to DRESS FOR SUCCESS, a non-profit charity. They provide business attire to women for an interview and a 2nd outfit when they land the job.
For more information or to arrange for FREE donation pickup from your home or office in the L.A. area., please call us at 818-883-8550 or email info@calconcierge.com

Greetings!
Lookin' for Spring, and Feelin' Groovy
Well...It's not exactly how Simon & Garfunkel sang it, but Spring is just around the corner, and we're so ready. You will be, too, with our checklist of changes for this change of seasons. We've also got some tunes to share. If spring cleaning is in your future, you'll be whistling while you work. |
| TIME TO SWITCH THESE 5 THINGS | | |
Ready, Set, SPRING! The change of seasons is the time to check and change the following:
Clocks: "Spring Forward" - Time Change is Sunday, March 13th at 2:00a.m. Move all your clocks forward one hour before going to bed Saturday. Remember to adjust any timers on household gadgets, indoor and outdoor lights, and those regulating your heating system.
Detector Batteries: This is also the perfect time to change the batteries on your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. While you're up there, be sure each detector is operational by performing a test, as directed for the item.
Mattress: Flip or rotate your mattress for even wear. Check the warranty card for manufacturer's instructions and recommendations.
Linens: When you swap your heavy quilts and blankets for lighter-weight bedding, prevent staining by washing or dry cleaning before storing. Stow them in under-bed boxes, zippered bags or vacuum-seal storage bags which save space and protect against insects.
Doormat: A good doormat - outside and inside - is key to keeping dirt from moving in. Over the winter months, doormats can really take a beating from all the shoe-wiping and grime. Replace any worn mats so that dirt won't make a path through your home.

| IT'S SPRING & THERE'S MUSIC IN THE AIR | |
WARNING: The following is intended for fun. Clicking on a title, below, will lead to a video which may result in toe-tapping, humming, and even singing out loud. You may also notice a slight SPRING in your step the rest of the day. Click at your own risk...

If Spring has you in the mood to get your home clean and orderly, but the thought of tackling the job puts you quickly out of the mood, then give us a call. We can take care of your Spring organizing projects, and you'll be feelin' groovy in no time!
Do what you love, and let California Concierge take care of the rest.
