We have had a overwhelming number of votes and if you haven't voted yet, there is still time before the end of January as every vote counts. We have sadly said goodbye to James Mills who after two years service has moved to further his career in the industry. We wish him well for the future. In James's place we welcome on board Elspeth Dickson as our new assistant manager. Elspeth has extensive experience in hospitality and is passionate about food and drink. In her spare time she likes eating out at top restaurants and her favourite to date is The Fat Duck!

Forthcoming events include Burns Night on Tuesday 25th January, The Inter Schools Quiz Night on Wednesday 26th January (Christchurch are the Quizmasters), Valentines Day, The Six Nations Breakfast with lots more to come.
Looking forward, we will be celebrating the Royal Wedding, our 6th Birthday, defending our Dragon Boat trophy, starting The Canbury Golf Society as well as hosting more food and wine evenings. It is also our intention this year to replace the awning covering the rear garden with a permanent structure. We are meeting with architects next week to progress with a planning application and will provide further details in due course.
