On Tuesday 21st October, due to popular demand, we are re-launching our Curry Night (£10 for a Curry, Rice, Mini Popadums and Mango Chutney PLUS either a pint of standard beer or glass of house wine). Of course our usual menu will be available but each week we will surprise you with dishes from India or Thailand.

 

On Wednesday 22nd October we re-launch our Steak Night. ( 2 Steaks and a bottle of House Wine for £30.00). Again, our usual menu is available but why not take advantage of this great offer!

 

Don't forget, that on Monday night every week, wines sold by the bottle are at retail prices! And whilst on the subject of our wines, our new list is quite unique in the fact that all our wines have a flat cash margin as opposed to a percentage margin, like most other pubs and restaurants. This means that the higher the price the better the value, for example our Chablis is not only £21 but it is sourced from one of the best small domaines in Chablis!

 

In addition to the above, Canbury Club members will receive a further 5% to 10% off all purchases depending on your points tally and the free to join Corporate Club you get 15% off although the card is only valid Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.

 

Also, there are £650.00 worth of vouchers remaining in our £2000.00 voucher give away. You have until October 24th or until the vouchers run out for your chance to draw a voucher at random from a box (denominations are £10, £20 or £50).

 

Come for lunch or dinner with a copy of the coupon below and you will be eligible to draw a voucher that may be redeemed on any subsequent visit before the end of November 2008.

Just recently, we have had a team change in the kitchen. We welcome Simon Nusa from Tate Britain and Sean Hodson formerly at Hambleton Hall. Along with old hands Pawel Pasternak and New Head Chef Greg Tyler.

 

I have to say, (and so have many customers over the last few weeks) the bar has been raised. They are producing some fantastic new dishes between them, the quality is outstanding and value for money too!

 

There are more vegetarian options, more dishes available around the £10 mark, at lunchtime, sandwiches from only £4.00 (£3.40 with the corporate discount), a lunch time hot pot of the day is avaialble at £4.50 and a fixed price two or three course option as well as the more expensive special items if you choose.

 

At the Canbury Arms we are always looking to improve on what we provide. It is our aim never to compromise on quality, whilst at the same time provide great food, outstanding wines, superb real ales and unbeatable value for money.
