Upcoming Events
Relax and enjoy a quick nine at our nine-and-dine twilight play at Rancho Mirage CC on Thursday, April, 26at 5 PM and dinner afterwards. Dori Smith will sub for Lucie Rochon as captain on Thursday.
Although online registration ends on today, you can also show up at the course if you can't register online. Feel free to register or bring a friend.
NOTE: If you haven't registered online, pay Dori by check or cash, please do not pay the pro shop. Dori will pay the pro shop for everyone. We hope to see you on Thursday.
FYI, Nine-and-Dine Twilight play moves to Bermuda Dunes CC in May and will be every Thursday in May at 4:30 PM thanks to Cathy Brown-Wellins who will be the captain. MANY THANKS to Lucie for being the captain at Rancho Mirage in March and April.

Rule of the Week
Confused by the rules of golf? We all are, and our  Education Chair - Linda Holbrook - has submitted different rules and educational information for our members to help them sort them all out. Rule 14-5/2 Making stroke at Oscillating Ball Q. A player's ball lies on the putting green. The ball is oscillating because of the wind. May the player make a stroke at the ball while it oscillates? A. Yes. An oscillating ball is not moving as defined by the Rules of Golf, there is no penalty for making a stroke at an oscillating ball. The player must continue play without undue delay. |
