The LPGA Front Row Experience presented by Volvik offers fans the unique opportunity to get inside the ropes to demo equipment and receive a FREE 10-minute lesson from an LPGA Teaching Professional right on the tournament driving range. Watch the LPGA Tour pros practice and then fine-tune your own swing with tips from some of the best instructors in the world!
Simply attend a participating LPGA or Symetra Tour event and visit the driving range while you're there to sign up for a lesson. Look for the LPGA Front Row Experience presented by Volvik banner on the range. | |

CONGRATULATIONS to all who played in last Sunday's Freeway Challenge with the EWGA LA Chapter.
The PS/DC Chapter kept the trophy with a commanding 6-2 win in this annual match play event.
Team members included:
Mimi Duong, Dori Smith, Vickie Brown, Dean Jackson, Sharon Durling, Kristina Stoural, Lori Sewell, Gena Mezo, Val Robbins, Elise King, Elizabeth Grant, Linda Holbrook, Jane Walters, Veda Ofseyer and Cathy Brown-Wellins.
Other prizes included 4 closest to the pin contests - all won by our Chapter members! Linda Holbrook, Lori Sewell, Valerie Robbins and Elizabeth Grant.

| Twilight Golf
Relax and unwind with a quick nine at Rancho Mirage CC on Wednesday, March 28 at 5 PM - literally, since we finished in an hour and forty-five minutes! Lucie Rochon, our captain, knows all the area restaurants for a good dinner that you've wanted to try and haven't found time to do so plus you also get to know other members better.
Although online registration ends today, you can also show up at the course and give Lucie a check or cash if you can't register today. Lucie in turn pays the pro shop for everyone who is playing. Feel free to register or bring a friend. We hope to see you on Wednesday.

Did you know that the EWGA Championship is THE largest women's amateur championship in the world? With 3 levels of competition - local, regional and national, more than 2,000 women each year compete in this event. In addition, there are 5 flights plus a competitive scramble team option, which gives every playing ability the opportunity to compete.
This year, our local Chapter Championship is being held on Saturday, May 5th at Eagle Falls Golf Course.
There will also be open tee times for 'FUN PLAY' at the Championship. This gives our non-competitors a chance to join the excitement of the day, and to see what the Championship is all about.

30-3b/1 Player Entitled to Putt Stands on Another Player's Line of Putt
Q: A and B are partners in a four-ball match. A's ball is closer to the hole than any other ball and it is B's turn to play. Side A-B decide that A will putt before B -- Rule 30-3b. However, in doing so A would be standing on B's line of putt or the line of putt of an opponent. What is the ruling?
A: A would be entitled to putt first even if she would be standing on B's line. Rule 30-3b overrides Rule 16-1a, which prohibits touching the line of putt. A would also be entitled to putt first if she would be standing on an opponent's line of putt. However, it would be a sporting gesture for Side A-B to relinquish A's right to putt first in these circumstances.
