Bella Bethesda Celebrates Its Fifth Anniversary This Fall!
Can you believe it has already been five years? We'd like to thank all of our loyal clients for supporting us and helping us build Bella Bethesda into the salon it is today. We hope you will join us in our continued effort to support the local community by attending our third runway hair show. This year's event: Hair to Heal will support Look Good Feel Better, a program that teaches beauty techniques to women undergoing cancer treatment. The event will be held the evening of Sunday, October 28 at the Bethesda Ballroom. Tickets will be going on sale today! Please visit our website for more information and we hope to see you there!
Bella Bethesda will also be participating in the Caring is Sexy National Cut-a-Thon on October 10. The event is hosted by the beauty product line Sexy Hair and will benefit Look Good Feel Better. Bella Bethesda will donate $10 of every client's service to Look Good Feel Better. |

Bella Bethesda will offer complimentary blow dry lessons on Tuesday, October 2 from 12:00pm - 7:00pm and complimentary Phyto treatments on Wednesday October 3 from 12:00pm - 7:00pm. A Kris Sorbie Reflection!
On Monday, August 27, Bella staff spent the day with Redken Education Artistic Director, Kris Sorbie. For those who don't know, she is also the creator of the popular hair color technique now known as ombré. Sorbie describes ombré as transition from dark to light, with a soft, shaded effect. The look is defined by darker roots that gradually lighten from the middle of the hair to the ends. Stylists learned three customized techniques that make ombré accessible to anyone. Bella is thrilled to welcome the newest member of our team, Shawn Askew! Shawn joins us all the way from North Carolina and brings 8 years of experience in the beauty industry as well as a background in journalism to the salon.
