Pink Jeep Tours Unveils Tour Trekker

Back-to-School!Pink Jeep Tours signature pink JEEP® Wranglers may be a common sight around Sedona, but there is nothing common about the new pink vehicle that is in town. The Tour Trekker is now taking visitors on daily tours to the Grand Canyon from both Sedona and Las Vegas.

Luxurious yet rugged, the Tour Trekker is the first of its kind, high-end, all-terrain, 4-wheel drive vehicle, designed to be the ultimate tour vehicle.

For nearly four years, Pink Jeep Tours, the premier off-road tour company in the southwest, developed and refined this one-of-a-kind vehicle.  Custom-built to easily navigate tough desert terrain and overcome challenging climate, the Tour Trekker spaciously seats 10 passengers, while preserving the intimate "small group experience," which marketing experts now note as being key for today's tourists who want more interaction, control and participation during their experiences.

Comfort is paramount; each fully-loaded Tour Trekker offers guests a state-of-the-art-designed interior that includes reclining leather captain seats, 15-inch DVD players, large tinted windows for unparalleled and unobstructed viewing, cross compartment A/C venting increasing passenger comfort and foam insulated walls for a quieter ride and superb climate control.  The wheelbase provides a smoother ride with dual rear wheels enhancing stability and safety.  True to the  JEEP® brand, Chrysler designed and licensed a seven-slot grille specifically for this application.

By easily navigating the outdoor terrain, the Tour Trekker allows guests unique access to remote destinations, thereby ensuring a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In addition to boasting the largest fleet of off-road vehicles, Pink Jeep Tours has the destination's largest group of professionally trained tour guides with nearly 70 knowledgeable guides on staff ensuring tours are not only entertaining, but also educational.

Dan Swan, Pink Jeep Tour GuideDan Swan has been a tour guide with Pink Jeep Tours for over four years.  Originally from the northwest by way of Portland, Oregon, Dan's previous job experience includes music retail, wholesale shipping, and sales.

Brought to Sedona on vacation, Dan immediately fell in love with the landscape.

He chose to work for Pink Jeep Tours because as he puts it, it is the best tour company and is "world class!"  He praises Pink Jeep Tours for continually raising the bar and being the tour company standard to which others aspire to be.  He recognizes the best part of his job is the people he gets to work with, and refers to them as the most amazing and eclectic group of people he has ever met.

To Dan, great customer service means creating the most positive memory he can for the guests in his vehicle.

Passionate about music, he submerges himself in all he can including recording, writing, and producing. As if he's not sweet enough already, Dan's favorite ice cream flavor is white chocolate and raspberry swirl.
