Grant Update - East Iredell Elementary
 Foundation staff had the privilege to attend the K-2 Playground Ribbon Cutting ceremony at East Iredell Elementary School in Statesville, NC this past month. East Iredell received a Jimmie Johnson Foundation/Lowe's Toolbox for Education Champions Grant to build two new playground structures, one for Grade K-2 and one for Grades 3-5. The students were very eager to play on their new playground after the ceremony!

Participate in the 2nd Annual Hendrick Marrow Program Half Marathon and 5k
 Lace up your running shoes in support of the 2nd Annual Hendrick Marrow Program Half Marathon, 5k and 1k on Sunday, September 26th. Proceeds from this event will support the Hendrick Marrow Program, which rallies the racing community to add potential marrow donors to the Be The Match RegistryŽ and to help patients in need of a marrow transplant.

Support Jimmie & Team Levine in the 2010 Prelude to the Dream
Jimmie is scheduled to participate in the 2010 Gillette Fusion ProGlide Prelude to the Dream on Wednesday, June 9th at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The proceeds of the HBO pay-per-view will benefit four children's hospitals: Cincinnati Children's, Levine Children's Hospital, Riley Hospital for Children and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Jimmie will join Team Captain Kyle Busch on the Levine Children's Hospital Team. Other teammates include Marcus Ambrose, Dave Blaney, Matt Kenseth and David Reutimann.
