JJF Announces the Lowe's Toolbox for Education Champions Grant
To help address the needs of our schools, the Jimmie Johnson Foundation has
partnered with the Lowe's Toolbox for Education program to distribute funds to
K-12 educational programs in Chandra and Jimmie's hometowns in California, North
Carolina and Oklahoma.
These special Toolbox for Education Champions Grants will range in size from
$25,000- $99,999. $150,000 each has been allocated to eligible school districts in North Carolina and
Oklahoma. The proceeds from the 2009 Jimmie Johnson Foundation Annual Golf
Tournament will be allocated in the San Diego area. In total, the Jimmie Johnson
Foundation will commit more than $600,000 to the program. Click here for the list of eligible school districts and to submit your application!

Participate in the Hendrick Marrow Program Half Marathon and 5K Run  Lace up your running shoes in support of the inaugural Hendrick Marrow Program Half Marathon and 5K Walk/Run on Sunday, November 22nd. Proceeds
from this event will support the Hendrick Marrow Program, which rallies the
racing community to add potential marrow donors to the Be The Match
RegistryŽ and to
help patients in need of a marrow transplant.
The half
marathon will take runners on one of the most exciting and unique courses in
the nation. The race goes down the zMAX Dragway, loops the perimeter of The
Dirt Track, crosses the pedestrian bridge and will make a lap around the famous
Lowe's Motor Speedway before running through Morehead Farms Campground and
returning to Lot Z.
