Kids and adults alike can enjoy the magic of movies on Wednesday mornings this summer at AMC Summer MovieCamp® in participating markets. An exciting and affordable option for summer fun, AMC Entertainment is proud to offer the community service program in 38 US markets on Wednesday mornings from June 25 to Aug. 6, 2008.
 
A nominal fee of $1.00 per guest will be charged with all admission proceeds, excluding taxes, going to AMC charitable partners, Variety the Children's Charity (funds from Texas theatres will go to Variety Club of Texas Tent 17) and the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation.
 
AMC Summer MovieCamp®, now in its 23rd year, has been a fixture in the communities AMC serves. The program presents recent G- and PG-rated movies on the big screen every Wednesday morning.  

Advance tickets will be on sale starting June 18 at 105 participating AMC theatre locations and online. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and shows will begin at 10:00 a.m. local time nationwide.
 
Families, schools and organizations alike are invited to see great kids' movies during AMC Summer MovieCamp®.
 
Available at select AMC theatres, this fun-filled program brings you:
     * $1 movies from June 25 - August 6
     * Shows starting at 10:00 a.m. every Wednesday
     * Great field trip opportunities - groups can purchase tickets one week in advance starting June 18 at the box office or online at participating theatres.
