Fresno Metro Black Chamber Celebrates Unification of Black Chamber:
Annual Mixer Celebrates Merger of two Black Chambers

Tonight, the Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce celebrates its rebirth as the local black chamber one year after the reunification of the San Joaquin Valley Black Chamber and the Central CA Black Chamber. One year ago, the two chambers, set aside differences and united for the good of the community to create the Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce. The Visitors Bureau was the first member to host an event for the newly merged chamber.

Over the past 12 months, the Chamber's Black Business & Professional Network Mixers have hosted nearly 500 enterpreneurs, business professional, elected oficials and students at the Holiday Inn- Downtown, Hilton Garden Inn- Clovis, and the African American Museum to Unlimited Energy, CSU Fresno, and State Center Community College District.

Come celebrate one year of connecting businesses to resources while networking with the members of the Chamber and the Convention & Visitors Bureau. Find out what's new with the Chamber and the Visitors Bureau over complimentary food &  wine from Joe's Steak House, Claim Jumpers, Holiday Inn Airport & Downtown, and Twin River Vinters Association. You also will have a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Color Purple- The Musical playing in Fresno's Saroyan Theater on December 7-8.
