SJVBCC welcomes CSU Fresno Intern
My name is Umaymah(ooh-may-muh) Rashid. I am a recent graduate of California State
University, Fresno with a degree in Business Administration as well as Mass
Communication & Journalism. My studies were focused in entrepreneurship and
print journalism, respectively.
I have over 5 years experience working with the youth and
community based organizations, over 3 years experience managing a collegiate, ethnic
publication, over 1 year experience
working in sales, and over 6 months
experience in working directly in a marketing/public relations capacity. My
diverse experience has allowed me the privilege of working with varying
individuals and gaining experience in multiple business arena's.
I am a success-driven, goal oriented individual who strives
to be the best. I am motivated, responsible, have excellent customer service
skills and am able to interact and work well with diverse groups of individuals
and decision-makers.
As an individual with a passion for business, education, and
community service, I am confident that I can make significant contributions to
this organization and am extremely excited to serve as a membership/marketing
intern with the SJVBCC and even more excited to be a part of the SJVBCC team.

introduction serves to provide you with a glimpse of my personality and what
role I may take in assisting you with any projects that you may be working on.
